Description
The farm is immersed in the enchanting landscape of Marche's hills, only 4 km. far from Porto San Giorgio's beach, a celebrated sea resort, and enjoys a splendid view over Adriatic sea. The farm is about 150acres wide, cultivate with vine-grapes, fruit trees and wheat. Guests are hosted in an ancient country house entirely restructured preserving local old country houses characters. It's divided into four units each with independent access, car parking, 2 or more bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. It's the ideal place to relax in the country, but at the same time important tourist centres nearby can be quickly reached. The area is rich of beautiful historic art towns and villages and ... of culinary festivals. In the surroundings our guest will find numberless small taprooms and small restaurants to taste local cooking and wine.;)

Surroundings
There is a wide range of short day trips in the surroundings, which are rich of art and history and really deserving a visit. The country around the Farm is an excellent base for excursions in the Piceno, to visit the splendid ancient city of Ascoli Piceno, only 25/30 km away from us, the historical towns of Fermo, Loreto, Grottammare. Moreover, the area is full of less known ancient little villages, where you will enjoy charming walks inside medieval walls and through delightful ancient narrow streets and, often, local feasts and picturesue religious plays . At short distance are the two Natural Parks of the Monti Sibillini and of the Monti della Laga and the wonderful Frasassi caves.Marche Travelguide.
ActivitiesHolidays in our Farm means to meet country people and feel the experience of the activities of agriculture and breeding, and tasting the genuine products of the farm. Horse riding can be practiced as well as trekking, biking and wine tasting. |
Food, wine and craftsIn the Farm our guests will have the opportunity of tasting and purchasing our traditional local products with their genuine flavors and fragrances: extra virgin biological certified olive oil, fruits, excellent wine produced and mellowed in the barriques of our cellar. Our wines are very typical of the Piceno territory and are produced according to the tradition and the careful processing of the two most important local vines: Montepulciano and Sangiovese. |
