Description

The barns, part of the ancient Castle, represent the ideal location for people wishing to spend a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The 8 apartments and one independent house were recently renovated to include all modern comforts while maintaining the traditional Tuscan charm: floors in terracotta tiles, and wooden beams, so to obtain an elegant and refined style matching with modern comfort. Each apartment is equipped with independent heating system, wooden fireplace, satellite TV, linen. The kitchen is endowed with fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
- Pero or Susino apartment (4 places + 1): On the ground floor there is a living-room, kitchen, fireplace, sofa-bed, one bathroom (shower) and lumber-room. On the first floor there is a big double bedroom, one bedroom with two single bed and bathroom (bath). Patio in front of the house.
- Ciliegio apartment (6 places): On the first floor a spacious living-room/kitchen with large fireplace, three big bedrooms and three bathrooms (shower). Private area in the garden.
- Fico apartment (4 places + 1): On the ground floor there is a spacious living-room and a big kitchen, sofa-bed, fireplace. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms (shower). Patio furniture in front of the house.
- Noce apartment (4 places): On the ground floor there is a living-room/kitchen, fireplace, two big bedrooms and two bathrooms (shower). From one of the bedroom you can get to the garden.
- Pesco apartment (4 places): On the first floor there is a living-room, fireplace, sofa-bed, kitchen, two bedrooms, two bath rooms(shower). Private area in the garden.
- Albicocco apartment (5 places +1): On the first floor there is a living-room with the kitchen, fireplace, two double bedrooms, one bedroom with a single bed and a sofa-bed, two bathrooms: one with shower and the other one with bath. Private area in the garden.
- Melo apartment (4 places): Adapted for disabled people. On the ground floor there is a living-room with fireplace, kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower (one is for disabled people). A nice arbour in front of the house.
- Guardia Independent house (6 places): On the first floor a spacious livingroom/kitchen with large fireplace, three bedrooms and one bathroom with shower and one with bathtub. Private garden. 400 metres from the swimming pool and other buildings.

The Country Farm shared facilities include a large swimming pool (6x12 m), a garden, bowl fields, ping-pong, barbecue, children recreational area and access to a shared washing machine.

Every site in the Tuscan landscape speaks of ancient cultures.
About 30 km from Florence, the castle, built along the ancient Via Francigena, the road which in ancient times brought pilgrims from France to Rome, is a leading example of many ancient influences.
The castle's history begins in 1210, when Counts Alberti of Certaldo built Caput aulae, the centre of Val d'Elsa's court.
Castle is sited  at 3 km. from Castelfiorentino, 25 from S.Gimignano, 30 km from Florence, 45 km from Pisa, 50 from Siena.
