Description

Ancient tiny village in Chianti next to San Gimignano. Composed of four independent farmhouses, each with its own swimming pool.
Various typologies of accommodation allows to find the kind better matching your ideal holiday: from the  refined and warm Casa Capezzano to the rustic but suggestive atmosphere of the ex monastery of Casa Arcangelo, from the independent apartment of Casa San Raffaello to Bio little house, perfect to taste the well being of a  positive and energetic rest.
Once Casa Arcangelo was a convent where friars took care of sick and poor people of  Certaldo village. The property has been accurately renovated using the original materials like  Tuscan terracotta tiles floors and wooden beams roof.  Olive trees and cypresses around the farmhouse offer a scenographic sight over the surrounding medieval villages. Casa Arcangelo is the perfect accommodation (18- 25 persons) for families and groups of friends.
Upstairs:
- 4 rooms with private bathrooms from 2 to 4 persons.
- 1 apartment (Rosa dei Venti) from 4- 6 persons, composed of kitchen, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms.
- 1 apartment (Arcangelo) from 6- 8 persons, composed by kitchen, 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms.
At ground floor an extensive hall (80 mq) with arches, a fireplace, a wide kitchen for convivial moments. Outside a terrace with a suggestive sight and a gazebo to dine out. Barbecue and swimming pool (7X14 mq) are surrounded by vineyards. Casa Arcangelo assures a full time relaxing holiday.
Casa Capezzano is an ancient farmhouse dated from 1600, made of: reception, 8 rooms with bathroom of classic, superior or junior suite typology, breakfast hall, restaurant and tasting room of typical and biological products, vinery, an Internet point.

House Bio is dedicated to lovers of well and natural being.
- 3 rooms and suite located in the ex barn, reorganized according to feng shui values and ecological materials, totally eucalyptus wood, clean energy tools and bio switch to neutralize electromagnetic fields.
Casa Raffaello  is a typical rural home in an extended green area.
- 5 apartments of classic and superior typology, restructured in 2007 (from 2 to 8 sleeping accommodations). Every apartment has one or two double rooms, kitchen with fireplace and sofa bed, bathroom and private garden to dine and enjoy the landscape and panoramic common swimming pool.
In the evening you can dine on the wide terrace and taste the typical specialities of Madam Maria's Tuscan cuisine made with the products and washed with the wines of the organic farm.

Surroundings

The agritourism is located in the surroundings of San Gimignano, one the more striking municipalities of Tuscany.
You can reach the location following small street between cypresses leading to the top of the hill where you'll find an incredible panorama over San Gimignano and Certaldo.
Reaching the House you tread down the paving of Via Francigena, the ancient route of pilgrims going to Rome.
In every season you will impressed by the scents of the greenery and by quiet.

How to get there with public transportation:
Nearest Railway station is in Certaldo (Firenze- Siena line). The agriturismo is 3km from the station. We suggest to take a taxi.
Florence airport "Amerigo Vespucci" is 75 km far while Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei" is 70 km  from agritourism. Car is necessary.
