Description
B&B in a private villa plunged in the green of citrus plantations at only 2km from the sea and from Etna volcano. The accommodation include an independent apartment (2bedrooms, 2 shower bathrooms, dining room with kitchenette) at ground floor, 2 bedrooms sharing bathroom, also with independent access upstairs. All have been reconstructed very recently (2003) using typical Sicilian materials as rustic terracotta and lava stone.
At guests' disposal also a wide courtyard in front of the house, 350sq.m. Of garden with garden furniture to realax and a useful roofed parking.

Surroundings
We are in Guardia, in Acireale municipality, a Baroque town famous for its Carnival, for its spa and its cakes, on the side of the volcano on a lava plateau sheer over Ionian sea. At short distance Lemons Riviera with the sea hamlets (Pozzillo. S.M. La Scala, Stazzo, S.Tecla). At approximately half an hour by car are Taormina, Etna Park, Nebrodi Park, and Alcantara River Park. Reachable for a day trip Catania and Cyclops Riviera, Siracusa, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone. We are in an ideal location to visit East Sicily and more.
How to reach by public means:
By train: get down at Acireale station, from here with regional train as far as Guardia M.- Santa Venerina, the house is at 300m from this station.
ActivitiesIn the outskirts: historic-cultural tourism, sea sporta, boat trips along the coast, trekking and guided excursion on the Etna volcano, winter ski on the Etna, canyoning, thermal baths, eno-gastronomic tours, golf course at 40km, outdoors and indoors swimming pool in Acireale spa at 5km. |
